Your Position

As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating content that supports the entire customer journey. You will be responsible to deliver, create highly effective, timely and innovative learning experiences to educate and inspire our customers and people across all functions to reach their professional goals.

Your Impact

Working closely with the broader Marketing, Sales, Partner Success, and Tech teams, you’ll partner with a wide range of internal stakeholders to craft various content types to shape compelling narratives for critical program initiatives and projects.

Your Backstory

  • 5+ years of equivalent content writing/ editorial experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating ability to create diverse content types.
  • Customer obsessed and metrics driven, using audience insights and analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, style, and tone.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive
  • Ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with others.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and plan and prioritise to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable in adapting your language to optimise across different regions - we talk to a global audience.
  • Natural storyteller with proven visual and written communication skills and the ability to present complex and abstract information simply with a relatable, human touch.
  • Thrives working in cross-functional teams, takes ownership of projects and can operate successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous, and undefined environment.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems, Google Analytics, Social Media Analytics, Microsoft Office Suite & SEO tools will be beneficial.
  • Prior experience doing ghostwritten content is desirable.
  • Prior experience working in the Education Industry is desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Your Contribution

  • Strengthen your knowledge and understanding of the education industry and stay abreast with the new updates and developments.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant topics to create compelling content.
  • Ideate, plan, write, edit, proofread, publish, and promote content across different platforms — including blog posts, social posts, email, case studies, website copy, whitepapers and more.
  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, tone of voice and aligns with the brand guidelines.
  • Write and proofread engaging content across all stages of a customer’s journey, including articles, emails, and guides.
  • Conduct keyword research and integrate SEO best practices to optimise content for search engines
  • Develop strong relationships across the business to develop proactive and reactive content solutions.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand customer requirement and gather feedback to create the content based on the customer needs.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to develop a cohesive narrative, plot, or argument in long-form articles, reflecting their vision and ideas.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving comms and content best practices.
  • Utilise analytics tools to measure the performance of content initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports on content performance, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, partner success and development, to ensure effective content creation.
  • Support on various ad-hoc projects and any other related tasks that may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
  • Provide support to the wider Marketing team.
