By identifying quality institutions to partner with, we provide the inventory for our platform and the opportunities for our channel partners and colleagues to place students at these amazing study opportunities.

Your Position

The Associate Director – Partnerships’ primary responsibility is to build and optimize academic relationships with key decision makers and influencers in universities and other education providers, leveraging your experience and expertise to create new growth opportunities for Adventus.io in your geographic region.

The focus of the position is to both do the work and service the partnership to ensure positive partner experiences that increase and maintain the value of our product.

Your Impact

  • Expanding and maintaining partnerships will enhance Adventus.io’ portfolio, drive recruitment outcomes, and open new revenue opportunities through broader geographic and course offerings
  • Effective relationship management and strategic advisory roles will ensure high client satisfaction, reduce churn, and promote long-term collaboration, increasing the lifetime value of each partner.
  • Advocating for partner needs across departments and facilitating internal training will streamline service delivery, improve internal coordination, and contribute to better outcomes for both partners and students.

Your Backstory

  • 8+ years’ experience in higher education, business development / strategic planning or relationship management
  • Organisational tact and diplomacy; possesses superb interpersonal skills required to develop close relationships with external partners and key collaborators across universities and institutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in a timely manner based on thoughtful analysis and critical judgment
  • Thrives in a multi-tasking environment, adjusting priorities quickly
  • Self-motivated, self-managed proactive, risk taking, and a very high drive to succeed
  • Detail oriented and analytical mindset
  • Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally
  • Demonstrated experience successfully collaborating with all levels of administration, including senior management staff and senior level customers to drive and enhance long term partnerships
  • End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships.
  • Significant experience of either university international affairs/recruitment or senior level client management in an adjacent organisation

Your Contribution

  • Identify, build, and maintain university partnerships that will support the strategic vision and growth of Adventus.io
  • Continuously work to identify new opportunities for current partners who wish to invest resources to increase engagement and recruitment outcomes
  • Steward all partnerships through execution; ensure client retention and high satisfaction through relationship development
  • Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each partner and drive continued value of our products prioritising strategically important partners
  • Lead the agreement renewals and territory extensions for all partnerships for region
  • Develop and own region partnerships strategy for designated region to ensure their needs are being met and are aligned with agreements
  • Ensuring the current partner offer fits with placement opportunities including setting of KPI’s, in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders, if required
  • Supporting the VP Global Partnerships with overall strategy development and reporting
  • Facilitate regular internal training about the destination country and education within it and ensuring staff understand the value proposition
  • Advocate partner needs/issues cross-departmentally and support internal operational teams in ensuring the smooth delivery of services to the partners
  • Define partnership plan to maximize the synergy between partner institutions and our sending regions/countries
