About this role

In this role, you will be part of the observability team and working on the latest cutting-edge tools and technologies as a first mover based on technology trends and in alignment with business objectives. You will be researching, learning and implementing innovative, creative and cost-effective ways to safely introduce new technologies to the Aidoc environment.

As part of the DevOps group, You will work in collaboration with the Developers, Data Engineers, Delivery and AI teams to empower them with the right monitoring, observability and reliability tools to achieve the company’s goals.

Your main challenges will be:

  • Managing big data by building scalable observability solutions for logs, metrics and events
  • Focusing on metrics collection in event-driven architectures, ensuring real-time visibility from high-volume data streams
  • Developing adaptive alerting systems that reduce noise and provide actionable insights using dynamic thresholds and anomaly detection

Responsibilities

  • The company’s entire cloud production observability infrastructure, including advanced cloud infra on AWS, with data pipelines, serverless deployments and container orchestration
  • Promote infrastructure initiatives, improvement and designs, with focus on reliability, scalability and efficiency
  • Establish metrics, logs and events streaming for data-driven decisions to help increase availability, reliability, and velocity
  • Application and infrastructure monitoring solutions
  • You will be trusted with autonomy, freedom and influence to design solutions and make technical decisions, in a critical position for the company’s growth.
  • You will work in a unique professional culture championing close work between Dev TechOps, and ownership. We’re literally tackling the challenges of bringing cutting edge cloud-based services to the healthcare world

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with monitoring, maintaining and optimizing production systems such as Prometheus / VictoriaMetrics, Kinesis, Opensearch, Grafana, InfluxDB, Vector
  • Experience with building infrastructure for data processes on a high scale
  • Experience with Kubernetes Platform
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CDK
  • Experience in designing and building cloud-based solutions, in one of the major cloud providers - preferably AWS
  • Analyze events and processes in complex ecosystems and produce insights, and identify areas for improvement
  • Accountability and ownership - doing whatever it takes for the company to succeed
  • Independent learning capability and curiosity without boundaries
  • Working on systems with complex releases or business flows

  • SOLID programming and scripting skills (python preferably)
