Work on a range of initiatives across international payments platform to deliver business outcomes, (including product features). Develop cloud-native, Kotlin-based microservices, and expose them primarily via GraphQL to a React frontend. Event source to model a sequence of events to identify the changes made overtime which is a key part of the architecture. Design and build new capabilities to support the product roadmap. Review the complete software architecture of new and current solutions. Reduce tech dept to expedite the delivery of the projects that need to be refactored. Create enhancements to improve operational effectiveness such as MTTD (Mean Time to Detect) and MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery). Design and build GraphQL API’s (Application Programming Interface). Use operational tooling’s such as New Relic, StatsD, Elk, Datadog and/or Prometheus. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to 2 Embarcadero Center, San Francisco, CA 94111. Salary: $215,197 - $228,000 per year.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of professional experience performing Quality Engineering (including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) to develop microservices and design and build new capabilities to support product roadmaps. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of professional experience performing Quality Engineering (including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) to develop microservices and design and build new capabilities to support product roadmaps. Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience working with high-volume distributed systems; 3 years of professional experience utilizing GCP or AWS, and Docker or Kubernetes; 3 years of professional experience utilizing operational tooling (including New Relic, StatsD, Elk, Datadog, or Prometheus); and 1 year of professional experience designing and building GraphQL APIs.
