Reporting to the Global Marketing Strategy & Operations team, the ANZ Regional Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing marketing operations and processes in the ANZ market. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a strong background in marketing operations, technology management, and process optimisation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness in marketing initiatives across the region, while ensuring alignment with global marketing strategies and objectives.

You will join the Airwallex Marketing team during a critical period. Following rapid growth, we are building a team that enables both global consistency in process, tooling, and methodology and local flexibility and speed in execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management Support: Provide operational support for the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing campaigns in the Australian market. Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to ensure campaigns are correctly setup in both marketing automation, and CRM systems, to ensure optimal tracking and reporting.

  • Enable Lifecycle Marketing campaigns. Educate other members of the ANZ Marketing team on best email campaign practices. Build and troubleshoot Marketo email programs when needed.

  • Process Optimization: Streamline marketing workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment between marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams. Identify areas for automation and implement solutions to increase productivity.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data analytics tools to analyse marketing performance metrics, track key KPIs, and generate actionable insights for continuous optimisation. Develop regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance trends and ROI to stakeholders.

  • Lead Management: Work with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure proper collection of lead information, prioritisation, qualification, and hand-off to sales teams of high-quality leads.

  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budget allocation, tracking expenses, and optimising spend across various channels and campaigns to maximise ROI and achieve targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, finance, revenue operations, and data teams, to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and objectives. Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments to drive integrated marketing strategies.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, including data privacy laws, financial regulations, and advertising guidelines.

What you bring:

  • At least 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or related roles, preferably in B2B marketing.

  • Current Marketo Certified Professional (MCP) certification is required.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing marketing technology platforms, optimising processes, and driving measurable results.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Looker, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.

It’s great if you have:

  • Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification is a significant advantage.

  • Other marketing certifications, including those for other marketing automation solutions, performance marketing, Google Analytics, Salesforce, etc.

  • Other experience in related marketing technology platforms (eg. CDPs, testing tools).
