As the Global Senior. Compensation and Benefits Partner for the company, you will oversee all aspects of total rewards for a globally dispersed team across APAC, China, EMEA and the US. Reporting to the Global Rewards Director, you will work with our global leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver competitive and analytically-driven compensation programs aligned with Airwallex's compensation philosophy and values. You will spearhead all facets of total rewards, encompassing compensation, benefits, and equity for our global business, with a strong focus on employee satisfaction and market competitiveness. This is a senior individual contributor role that will grow as Airwallex continues to scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact.

  • Provide guidance to HR and the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues, including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and equity compensation, as well the strategy for new hires and ongoing retention strategy for top talents and high performers within the organization.

  • Lead and manage the annual compensation review process including budget planning

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the strategy, design, policies, guidelines, and operationalization of Compensation and Benefits programs, as well as effectively managing Airwallex's equity pool.

  • Implement and maintain compensation resources (Confluence pages, training, communication)

  • Served as subject matter expert for training and education programs, delivering comprehensive trainings on Airwallex Compensation Philosophy to cross-function stakeholders, business leaders and employees.

  • Prepare ad hoc reporting for the executive team

What you will bring:

  • 6-10 years experience of good mix of hands-on, operational and compensation design and management experience

  • Highly analytical and strong technical and quantitative skills (Excel etc.)

  • Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.

  • Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data such as salary, incentives (cash, equity), and executive compensation.

  • Ability to work independently, take on responsibility and be quick of foot in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.

  • Solid consultation skills and the ability to influence and provide quality advice.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal presentations that demonstrate business acumen.

  • Candidates must have demonstrated project management experience, and the ability to manage multiple (sometimes shifting) priorities under tight deadlines.
