What you’ll do
As a Senior Analyst for Product Operations, you will play a crucial role in building and ensuring the seamless operation of Airwallex’s newest product: Yield (https://www.airwallex.com/au/business-account/yield) . This is a tremendous opportunity to deliver great customer experiences while being able to help continue building one of our newest products. You will be the main point of contact for operational requirements and inquiries related to Yield and will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve overall customer experience. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills working with teams and external partners all over the world.
This role is based in Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
Operations wizard. Implement Yield operations work seamlessly. Not afraid to roll up your sleeves to do the work itself, ensuring all transactions and reporting are encoded and recorded properly. Able to build up automations and tools using available resources (Google Sheets others). An understanding of work automation (e.g. scripting, python, JS, etc.) is a huge plus to be successful in this role.
Cross-team, cross-country collaboration: You will work closely with various stakeholders, including internal teammates and external partners and vendors who contribute to Yield. Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, finance, and customer support and success teams to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into product development and process enhancements.
Lives and breathes numbers. Responsible for providing regular updates to senior management on the status of Yield, including identifying emerging risks and proposing recommendations to mitigate those risks. Utilize analytical tools (SQL helpful but not required) to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets to derive actionable insights. Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and trends. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership through effective data visualization and presentations.
Handle special projects and ad hoc incoming requests, including deep dives on issues identified by leadership or functional teams.
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
2-4 years of experience, preferably with a fast growing tech startup or top-tier strategy/management consulting or equivalent
Extremely strong analytical skills and with some exposure in some form of scripting or programming language
Strong problem solving skills essential
Self-starter that can identify and prioritize opportunities to focus on
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Technology, financial services and/or experience in a high growth environment is advantageous
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
