The Cash Management team is responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge software and tools that help businesses effectively manage their cash flow. Our team is focused on building solutions that enable businesses to optimise their cash position, streamline treasury management, and make informed financial decisions.
What You'll Do
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Lead to join our Cash Management team. As an Engineering Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the technical direction and execution of our cash management solutions. You will lead a team of talented engineers in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers.
This role is based in Melbourne.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical design and development of cash management solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure successful product delivery.
Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including agile development, continuous integration, and automated testing.
Maintain a strong understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the financial technology industry.
Contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
Who You Are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on financial systems or related areas.
Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Experience with distributed systems, cloud-based technologies and microservices architectures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with treasury management systems or cash management solutions.
Experience in Kotlin, Spring and JVM stack related technologies.
Experience in Elasticsearch, Kafka, Temporal and SQL databases.
Familiarity with fintech and global payment systems.
