Job Purpose
Leading the development of new products from concept to launch with Collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage new product development projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Co-manufacturers, R&D, Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards, AU (AICIS) or USA (MoCRA).
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
- Manage Project timelines and budgets
- Work Under the standards of quality and safety
About the Successful Candidate
- Experience in brand, innovation and new product development, preferably in the Beauty Industry, but not limited
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle encompassing formulations & packaging concepts
- Proven examples of bringing concepts and products to life with successful commercial outcomes
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong Systems thinking and process documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage stakeholders at a variety of levels;
- Proven experience building relationships to engender collaboration and influence;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Able to work in a self-directed manner, but comfortable seeking help when needed
- Flexible attitude, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Adapt to changes in schedules and processes, showing flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset.
