As part of its European growth strategy, August Robotics is establishing a new office in Athens, making Greece a key hub for its regional robotics operations. The expansion creates an opportunity for talented individuals to join Greece’s growing robotics industry at an early stage.

THE ROLE

As a Robotics Field Technician, you will deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems on customer sites across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East. Working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer success, you will help ensure reliable robot performance and successful deployments in real-world environments.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Independently deploy, operate, and support robotic systems on customer sites
  • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to clients and partners
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs both in the field and at the workshop
  • Monitor robot performance and ensure successful execution on job sites
  • Collect customer feedback and work with internal teams to improve product features
  • Organize the workshop, in charge of spare parts inventory management
  • Troubleshoot and repair the robots with support from the engineering team to ensure operational readiness
  • Support a wide range of technical and operational tasks as needed

YOUR SKILLS

What we are looking for:

  • A technical/mechanical background and university degree or diploma from a higher vocational school in Engineering, Mechanics, or a related discipline
  • Basic understanding or strong interest in programming, Linux, and control systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Hands-on mindset with comfort working on physical hardware systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to perform light physical activity

You must have:

  • Eligibility to work in Greece
  • Valid Greek driver’s license
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 2 to 3 weeks per month)

Nice to have:

  • 1 to 2 years experience in an engineering or technical role
  • Fluency in German, Spanish, Italian or French
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to project-based work
