Key Purpose

We are looking for an experienced in-house Financial Analyst specialising in FP&A, data analysis and financial systems improvement to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and process/system enhancements across the organisation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare and own the monthly/quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Develop detailed financial models to support business strategy and scenario analysis.
• Identify trends, variances and insights to inform decision-making with business partners and senior leadership.
• Produce timely management reporting and performance dashboards.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse large datasets from multiple internal systems (ERP, GL, CRM, operational systems) to generate actionable insights.
• Build, automate and maintain robust reporting tools.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies.

Systems Improvement & Automation

• Lead or support finance systems enhancements (automation of reporting, data integration, process optimization).
• Partner with IT or cross-functional teams on system upgrades, data governance standards and workflow improvements.
• Develop and document processes, tools, templates and SOPs to improve efficiency and quality of outputs.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business units across finance, operations, commercial and executive teams to understand requirements.
• Present analysis clearly and persuasively to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or related field.
• 2 to 3 years Strong FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis).
• Excellent data analysis capabilities (Excel advanced, Google Sheets, Power BI).
• Experience with financial systems (Xero, NetSuite, consolidation tools, HubSpot) and process improvement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functionally.
• CA/CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Familiarity with financial modelling, automation tools.
• Exposure to system implementation or integration projects.

Remuneration

• Salary per Annum: AUD$90,000 to $110,000 + Super
• STI - Up to 15% (Based on Performance)
