About the Program

Launching in January 2026, our Graduate Program is designed to provide recent, or soon to be graduates with a comprehensive and immersive experience into the telecommunications industry. Over the course of 12 months, you will rotate across 4 pivotal functions within our service offering, enabling a well-rounded exposure to different professional pathways. The program consists of a rotation across the following areas:

  1. Fibre optic network design
  2. Software development
  3. Technical consulting

The Program offers a dynamic and supportive environment in which you will gain hands-on experience within design, engineering and software development fields. The ultimate outcome is a unique introduction into the global telecom industry, providing you with a broad range of tangible skill sets to develop your professional growth.

This is a 12-month, Full Time program with the opportunity to move to a permanent position within the Biarri Networks Consulting, Development, or Network Design teams.

Program Rotation

  • Training and Onboarding: Introduction to Biarri Networks; who we are and how we operate. In the first month, you will undergo Initial Network Planner onboarding training, which includes an introduction to the tools, systems and processes used to design fiber optic networks.
  • Fibre Optic Network Design: The second stage is where you will assist in the planning and design of fibre optic networks, utilizing industry-leading tools and methodologies. During this stage of the rotation, you will join the Design Services team and be given the ability to learn what tools and processes are used to solve customer problems. You will work on productive projects using these tools to produce designs for customers. This rotation will include a trip to visit our engineering teams in either Vietnam or Philippines.
  • Software Development: Biarri Networks designs are built as a result of our software side of the business and patented tool, FOND. In this stage of the Program, you will work within the Development team to understand our range of code stack, programming and technical development that all contribute to our network design and consulting services. You will have the hands-on opportunity to participate in learnings that enable our optimization solutions.
  • Consulting: Last, but certainly not least! The final stage is designed to combine all you have learned to provide a solution-orientated, consultative role within the Design Services process. This is done by working with clients directly to understand their needs for the purpose of delivering tailored solutions that meet specific requirements. During this rotation you will shadow one or more technical consultants and assist them in solving customer problems; this may include
  1. identification and development of new technical tools or processes,
  2. setting up and supporting the design services team, and
  3. establishing new clients, projects and their technical requirements.

Learning Opportunities

  • Fibre Optics: Gain a deep understanding of fibre optic technology and its applications in modern telecommunications.
  • Operations Research: Learn about the principles and practices of operations research and how they are applied to optimise network design and performance.
  • Software Development Best Practices: Develop your coding skills and learn about best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Agile Environment: Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams in an agile setting, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Participate in productive client meetings to learn how to identify client needs, problem solve and build stakeholder management skills.
  • International Travel: Take a work trip to either the Philippines or Vietnam to work on-site alongside and build relationships with the Design Engineering teams.
