Biarri Networks is on the lookout for a Compliance Administrator (Information Security & Technology) to join our Denver team on Permanent Full Time or Part Time basis.

This role is a Hybrid role in our Denver, Colorado HQ.

Job Summary:

The Compliance Administrator – Information Security & Technology role supports the management and audit of Biarri Networks security controls to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards (ISO 27001). This is achieved by providing day-to-day administration and coordination of our Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will support the Interim Information Security Manager to keep governance, reviews and reporting running smoothly across the business.

This is an entry-level role with tangible growth opportunity; the role is well suited to someone early in their Information Security or Compliance Analyst career. You will gain hands-on exposure to ISO 27001 operations, data security frameworks, including management review meetings, internal reviews and audits, and control documentation, while building the skills and track record to take on more complex security work.

Additional responsibilities include support of office hardware management, including but not limited to, initial set-up and pack down of company devices, record keeping and general maintenance with support.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

ISMS Governance & Coordination

  • Prepare Management Review Team (MRT) agendas, coordinate stakeholder inputs, and produce accurate minutes and action logs
  • Maintain and update the Information Security calendar, including MRT meetings, audit dates, policy review cycles, training and certification milestones
  • Track tasks and actions arising from MRT meetings, audits and the non-conformance register, following up with owners and escalating overdue items
  • Maintain the non-conformance register and ISMS KPI tracker, keeping records current and accurate

Reviews & Audits

  • Assist with simple, well-defined security reviews and audits (for example access reviews, routine control checks, and vendor security questionnaire responses) under the direction of the Information Security Manager
  • Gather evidence and documentation to support more complex reviews and audits, liaising with system and process owners to collect the information required
  • Support preparation for external certification audits by collating evidence against Annex A controls

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain version control and organisation of ISMS documentation, including policies, procedures and registers
  • Assist in drafting and updating information security policies and procedures under guidance
  • Produce simple status reports and summaries for the Information Security Manager and MRT

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Act as a first point of contact for routine ISMS queries from employees
  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure and product teams to gather information and follow up on control implementation

IT Duties

  • Provide initial set-up support of new company devices
  • Complete pack down (including device wiping) of company devices upon return
  • Provide high-level IT support with in-person employees, whilst liaising with Australian based IT team

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written communication, including minutes, follow-ups and simple reports
  • Time management skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and deadlines across several stakeholders
  • Comfortable working within structured frameworks and processes
  • Basic understanding of, or genuine interest in, information security concepts
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively when required
  • Basic understanding on technology device management, ability to follow directions when provided

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Exposure to ISO 27001 or another management system standard
  • Prior experience in a coordination, PMO, compliance or governance support role
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, M0365 applications such as SharePoint/OneDrive, and Slack
  • Tertiary qualification (or currently studying towards one) in IT, cybersecurity, business or a related field
