We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team at CAIS! As the first People Experience hire at CAIS’ new London office, this high impact position will play a critical role expanding the Technology team and building a fantastic workplace experience at our fast-growing firm. This position reports directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition, and is responsible for owning in-house talent acquisition strategies and recruitment processes for CAIS’ UK based Technology team. This high visibility opportunity will work closely with senior leaders to engage, recruit and hire top talent across a variety of technical disciplines, including: engineering, product design, product management, data, QA, cloud, project management, corporate IT, etc. You take pride in your ability to build strong relationships that leave candidates and new hires alike with a lasting positive impression of the firm. This is a great opportunity for a technical recruiter to demonstrate their prowess, drive strategic initiatives that build CAIS’ talent brand in the UK, and to contribute to building a best-in-class workplace experience for the CAIS’ London office team.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert on all things CAIS, and relentlessly demonstrate CAIS core values and promote CAIS’ people-centric (and awesome) culture
- Strategically partner with hiring managers to develop and/or revise comprehensive and compelling job descriptions, document success criteria, outline interview team and cadence, etc
- Manage full-cycle technology recruitment, providing a best-in-class candidate experience
- Proactively source and engage qualified candidates (active and passive) through talent platforms, referrals, networking events, and internal databases
- Engage and assess qualified candidates for a variety of technical roles through virtual and in person interviews
- Conduct reference calls, and coordinate with the People Operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Prepare reports for the Head of TA and relevant Hiring Managers that track recruitment efforts, agency hit rate, and candidate engagement
- Manage contract renewals and conversions for consultants
- Collaborate with broader People Experience team to provide in-region insights (benefits packages, bands, IR35 working practices, DEI, HR requests, etc)
- Facilitate a fantastic workplace experience for London based staff by providing light office management support 2 days/week minimum
- Additional responsibilities to be determined based on capacity, skill, and interest
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of Technical Recruitment experience, ability to understand and explain technical job requirements to candidates
- Full cycle recruiting experience within fintech and/or technology fields required
- Expertise utilizing LinkedIn Talent Solutions required, Github & Stack Overflow a plus
- Experience using an ATS required, Greenhouse a plus
- Solid understanding of UK HR practices and labor legislation (IR35, data privacy, equal opportunity, pay transparency, statutory requirements, etc)
- Experience working with a diverse team and a passion for fostering an equitable and inclusive environment
- Firm understanding of leveraging recruiting metrics to drive decision-making
- Highly refined communications and writing skills that demonstrate high EQ, and linear/logical thinking
- Strong work ethic and integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Fast learner and self-motivated with ability to independently execute instructions with great attention to detail and consistently produce high-quality work
