To support and supervise a large team across different jurisdictions with responsibility for all transactions and administration associated with the Corporate Events department. Ensure all tasks are completed prior to deadlines, in line with legal, regulatory and company procedures. Within the team there are three sections:

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and review all new and ongoing Corporate Actions for risk assessment and ensure
processes are being met within relevant deadlines and timeframes and in line with all regulatory requirements - Provide support, advice, and guidance to all team members in order that they can carry out their individual roles
- Ensure real-time escalation of any possible operational risks / incidents/ errors/ complaints to the Corporate Events
Manager - Ensure Avaloq order books are being monitored and team members are tracking events and adding relevant post-its
- Review and sign off completed Corporate Action files prior to filing, as well as performing 4-eye checking procedures as required
- Verify and release corporate event responses/instructions from Front Office/Client Services and Clients, as well as instructions/actions required with our custodians
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Technical /Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in wealth management or banking operations
- Ability to obtain a solid understanding of Custodian process
- Ability to quickly learn and work with new systems
Systems/Internal Processes
- Solid knowledge of the Corporate Action processes and workflows
- Ability to follow procedures and make recommendations for improvement
Regulatory Awareness/Compliance
- Good understanding of banking and wealth management regulations across the UK and International jurisdictions of the Crown Dependencies escalating areas of concern or issue in a timely manner
Core Competencies/Skills
- Skilled with Excel and Word
- Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to recognise where technical development in Avaloq could promote efficiencies
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Evidence of being able to work calmly under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability of adapting to changes
- Strong organisational skills
