CELOTTI WORKFORCE has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client’s team at a farm site in Middle Point, NT.
Our client operates a large-scale farm facility and is seeking a trade-qualified fitter with a strong background in heavy machinery, plant maintenance, and agricultural equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work in a rural setting.
Job Details
- Role Type: Casual Ongoing
- Location: Farm Site – Anzac Parade, Middle Point NT 0836 (Approx. 1-hour drive from Darwin)
- Start Time: 6:30 AM (up to 10 hours per day)
- Roster: Monday to Friday / offers a 4-day working week
- Pay Rate: $60 per hour – flat rate
- Immediate Start
- Trade qualified Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
- Minimum 5+ years post-trade experience
- Strong experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Exposure to auto electrical fault finding
- Competent with automotive air conditioning
- Skilled in fixed plant maintenance (e.g., gensets & pumps)
- Farm machinery and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- HR Licence or current Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Toyota Light Vehicles – Petrol and Diesel
- Caterpillar
- Mitsubishi
- Isuzu
- Acco
- Kubota and Case Tractors
- Forklift repairs and maintenance
- Sykes Diesel Pumps
