The role, and what you'll be doing

As a co-founder, working side by side with the CEO, the Chief Technology Officer will lead technology across platform, product, and engineering; bringing clarity, structure, and direction as the business scales.

This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing strategy with execution; ensuring the platform is stable, scalable, and built for future growth.

You will:

• Own and lead the end-to-end technology strategy across platform, product, and engineering
• Architect and scale an AI-native platform across React, Node.js, AWS, and PostgreSQL
• Partner directly with the CEO on product direction, roadmap, and execution
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, setting the standard for pace and quality
• Introduce structure, prioritisation, and disciplined delivery as the company scales
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance

About you

• Proven CTO or senior engineering leader experience within a startup or scale-up
• Strong technical depth across modern architectures and AI-native products
• Experience building and scaling platforms and teams from an early stage
• Builder mindset; comfortable creating structure from ambiguity
• Hands-on when needed, with the ability to move between strategy and execution
• Commercially minded; understands how technology drives growth
