Position Overview
Unlock your growth potential by joining our team as Growth Lead. This role will be instrumental in driving our marketing and growth efforts, building and executing growth strategies, and ensuring Clipboard continues to scale. While owning the marketing and growth function, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success and Sales teams to develop and implement initiatives that drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a tangible impact.
Each day, you'll work on developing and implementing growth strategies, optimising our customer journey, analysing performance data, and experimenting with new growth tactics. You will lead efforts across digital marketing, product-led growth, customer engagement, and more. We seek someone with strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a results-driven approach. This role is perfect for a “doer” with a great attitude looking to lead growth initiatives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyse performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimise the customer journey.
- Experimentation: Design and execute experiments to test new growth tactics and strategies, iterating based on results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for growth initiatives.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, email marketing and social media campaigns.
- Conferences & Events: Identify, plan and organise all aspects of attendance at key events, both sponsored and owned.
- Product-Led Growth: Collaborate with the product team to identify and implement growth levers within the product experience.
- Customer Insights: Analyse customer feedback to inform growth strategies and improve the overall customer experience.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights on growth performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Digital Marketing Proficiency: Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, CRM, and CMS.
- Creative Problem Solver: A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for growth.
- Effective Communicator: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised and Detail-Oriented: Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail, ensuring high-quality execution of growth activities.
- Tech Proficiency: A reasonable level of technical proficiency.
- Team Player: A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Passion for the Problem: You have an interest in technology solving real-world problems and care about the life lessons that extracurricular activities teach students.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a growth or marketing role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
