Position Summary
Culture Amp is seeking a seasoned and transformational General Manager, APAC to serve as a key member of the senior management team who can capture the company’s growth opportunity in the APAC region. The General Manager, APAC is both the leader for the team in the region & the Sales & Customer leader. The General Manager, is an Enterprise Sales Leadership role and also has the significant responsibility of developing and executing a multi-faceted sales strategy to gain market share as well as build the highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty and do it all while maintaining responsibility for the community and wellbeing of team members in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for being the leader and key voice of the region. This means being responsible for all team members in the region including driving engagement, culture and wellbeing across the region. This may include things like engagement planning, location strategy and ways of working.
- Responsible for our APAC new logo and expansion revenue growth, as well as the broader book of business, including working in partnership with Customer Success on renewals.
- Direct leadership of the Enterprise Sales team managing Account Executives, Account Managers, Partnerships and Solutions Consultants whilst owning the entire revenue generation and customer Book of Business for the APAC region.
- Acts as a cross-functional partner to our Marketing and Customer Success leadership to optimize health across all revenue and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Act as a strategic thought leader and advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer and broader Executive Team; a true business leader and general manager
- Scale and maintain a world-class APAC Enterprise sales organization (including Partnerships) that sustains efficient and high long-term growth
- Create and drive new strategic go-to-market plans to meet company growth and market share goals
- Assess the current sales methodologies and team structure to propose/implement necessary adjustments in order to optimize performance and build the infrastructure and incentives to facilitate further aggressive growth
- Develop short and long-term regional market strategy and forecasts through market analysis and interpretation of data and communicate sales activities of execution and sales productivity with the senior management teams
- Recruit, inspire, lead, mentor, motivate and instill operational rigor into the sales organization, to capitalize on the market opportunity for Culture Amp
- Leverage strong customer relationships, consistently collecting and providing feedback on customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for continuous process, product, and solution improvement
To be effective in this role, the General Manager, APAC will specifically have the following key pivotal experiences and expertise:
- Culture First Mindset - Experience and capability in driving the connection between team engagement and performance. Connects and motivates a highly engaged team that delivers sustained, high performance. Proven leader in cross functional collaboration
- Go-to-Market Complexity – Responsibility for a complex, platform/multi-product sales motion across field, inside and channel sales selling into a multi-segment (SMB to Enterprise) customer base.
- High Growth at Scale – Track record of leading an organization through rapid growth to $300M and beyond. Develops processes and strategies that enable the organization to scale with the business.
- Modern SaaS – Experience within a cloud-native SaaS business, and track record of managing a predictable and repeatable recurring revenue business model.
- Operational Rigor – Experience implementing complex strategy and operational improvements. Takes a data driven and efficiency-oriented approach to sales operations. Measurable success in improving sales enablement, hiring practices, productivity, sales strategy and programs.
