This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.The Sr. Associate, Field Technical Service Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for ensuring Alcon equipment at customer sites and demo equipment function effectively. You will find and fix complex issues, suggest new products or upgrades, and build strong customer relationships.
Specifics Include:
• Perform specialized technical tasks and conduct research to optimize project outcomes
• Ensure all Alcon equipment at customer sites and demo equipment function effectively as per specifications
• Identify and correct complex problems associated with start-up
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that meet customer needs
• Develop ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business, including AMC/CAMC sales and renewals
• Instruct clients on the proper usage and operation of equipment
• Document and maintain clients’ service logs
• Prepare reports for product failure analysis and serviceability issues, escalating to relevant engineering teams
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, and ensuring rigorous quality control
• Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements to contribute to the overall compliance of the organization
