As a Manager, Logistics & Freight Management supporting our Supply Chain team, you will be trusted to manage global transportation activities, lead third‑party logistics partners, and ensure customs compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and compliantly so people everywhere can see brilliantly.
This position may be based in any country in Europe, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
Please note: this is a fixed‑term contract for 1 year.
In this role, a typical day will include:
• Collaborating with internal supply chain teams and external logistics partners to solve complex transportation and customs‑related challenges
• Managing the movement of goods, shipments, and freight forwarding activities while ensuring full customs and regulatory compliance
• Leading and evaluating third‑party vendors to ensure service quality, performance, and continuous improvement
• Developing and implementing distribution strategies that optimize operational efficiency and support business performance
• Managing individual projects requiring strong project management, time management, communication, and industry‑specific expertise.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON
• Relevant education enabling successful performance in logistics, supply chain, or related fields
• Experience in transportation management, freight forwarding, vendor management, or supply chain operations
• Strong technical understanding of logistics processes, customs compliance, and GxP‑aligned documentation practices
