Video Editor / Animator - Project Work

We are looking for a mid to senior level Video Editor/Animator to create engaging and impactful video content for a range of interesting client projects.
The successful candidate will need to have a passion for creating beautiful campaigns, animations, and video content within the digital space with an emphasis on what works best to engage, nurture, and drive greater value for the end customer via all social and digital platforms.
This will require excellent verbal and written presentation skills, the ability to pitch creative concepts, to take direction and will work closely with the rest of the Creative Hub and the Digital Agency team. Applicants must have strong English language spoken and written skills.
You will be working as part of a growing creative hub team within Digivizer’s Agency Services. It’s a fun and supportive environment to grow and learn. A typical few days of work may look like this…
- Develop video concepts, storyboards, and scripts that align with goals and strategies
- Edit footages into professional videos, stories, and reels for various platforms including social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, Linked, Tiktok, etc)
- Present creative concepts to Creative Lead and Account Managers
- Strong management of work from concept through production to final delivery
- Strong creative systems and file keeping
Who are you?
- Must have completed a degree and at least three (3) years of experience in digital & social media campaign development, particularly video editing, in an ad agency setting / handling multiple clients/brands simultaneously
- Expertise with AI video creation and animation (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate CC)
- Familiarity in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign)
- Knowledge of social media best practice, platforms, and ad units
- Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality work
- A creative portfolio - with lots of examples of real client work published in social media
- Flexible approach to work, with an agile mindset
The role is going to be freelance, working remotely. Project work may be 1-2 days per week or a week per month with the option to grow to full-time.
We are a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) company.
