Job: Senior Digital Content Writer & Team Lead - Sydney | Hybrid

We’re on the hunt for a great Senior Digital Content Writer & Team Lead with a strong background in B2B content. This role will be both as a senior writer on C-level thought leadership programs (80% time), as well as to oversee/lead a small team of experienced writers who also write for C-level executives and B2B customers (20% time).

Lead and inspire our writers and content specialists. This team focuses on developing content that is strategically built for digital marketing across social media, digital editorial, blogs, short and and long-form. Your role will help lead, develop and create thought leadership content and campaigns for some of the biggest name technology clients and their C-level executives as well as some unique and innovative B2B companies.

This would suit someone with a marketing or public relations agency, journalism or communications background or someone who is 3-5 years into leading B2B social media writing programs looking to switch to a new environment. Your writing style must be able to craft new perspectives and driven thought leadership conversations in the voice of the executives and around valuable pillars determined of interest to their target audience.

You will be a super strong and effective senior executive interviewer and writer; plus, love building strong partnerships and collaborations with our clients (often the Marketing or Communications Leaders of the client organizations), and other teams across our agency services. You will have previously developed content journeys across all digital touchpoints (social, web, newsletters, email) and be open to how AI can help create more value for our customers. You will be able to balance your role both as an individual writer and as someone who can provide prioritisation, development, and editorial guidance to your team.

You will be happy to work flexible hours as some of our international executives like to be interviewed first up in our morning and some later in the evening. Any out of hours are traded for time for you to do what you like as we are not looking for you to work overtime. You enjoy flexibility and are good with context-switching and your own diary management.

A typical few days of work may look like this…

  • Create unique, engaging and high quality written content for your key c-level executives
  • Identify, collaborate and build new content initiatives, collaboration and content ideas with your clients
  • Develop content strategies for B2B executives and brands
  • Identify, prepare and coordinate opportunities for interviews (online and video)
  • Interview client executives as part of formal thought-leadership programs
  • Organising team resources, managing performance and deliverables to deadlines
  • Write, edit, and proofread copy, providing guidance and feedback to the team on their work
  • Create and maintain social media content calendars
  • Publish content on behalf of execs and monitor/provide recommendations for commentary and responses

Who are you?

  • Agency, PR, or communications background a must
  • 3-5 years' experience writing for marketing content, social media, executives, organizations or media (writing for c-level executives is critical)
  • Super knowledgeable about LinkedIn
  • Hands on experience with AI tools
  • Strong technology experience and writing portfolio
  • Team management experience
  • Interview experience with executive level leaders with confidence, professionalism, and curiosity to complex subject matters
  • Flexible approach to work, with an agile mindset
  • Ready to learn and be challenged

  • Excellent in communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills

Digivizer follows a hybrid work arrangement. You will be working the majority 3-4 days from home and 1-2 days a week from our office in Sydney CBD. We are a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) company.
