Web Developer/Specialist | Philippines - Remote

About the role

We are looking for a talented Web Developer/Specialist to join our growing Digital Performance Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, updating, and maintaining high-performance websites, ensuring seamless user experiences across Shopify and WordPress (Elementor).

As a core member of our team, your expertise in front-end development and website optimization will ensure our web properties meet modern standards for performance, security, and scalability. You'll work in a collaborative, supportive, and fast-paced environment that encourages growth and learning. You will have some client management communications experience for briefing of projects and managing project updates.

A typical few days of work may look like this…

• Implement custom web designs and develop websites on Shopify and WordPress (Elementor)
• Write clean, responsive, and accessible HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Conduct regular website maintenance including performance optimization (loading speed, responsiveness, and browser compatibility)
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across various devices and browsers
• Implement recommendations to improve site speed, reduce technical debt, and enhance overall user experience
• Collaborate with creatives, paid media, SEO, account management, content and product teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all web assets
• Provide proactive and professional reports and updates on web projects and programs
• Implement and test GA4 analytics
• Set up Zapier and any other notification system for leads, form submissions etc
• Managing relationships with Asia-based clients and internal stakeholders

Who are you?

• Have a client management, web development, communications background, at least 4-5 years of experience
• Have passion and experience in web development (Shopify & Wordpress/Elementor) and digital marketing
• Have a sound understanding of social and digital media advertising
• Have a previous experience running multi-functional projects for clients
• Have a previous experience in a client facing role (an advantage)
• Familiar with Google Suite, Slack, and Asana (a bonus)
• Have a flexible approach to work, with an agile mindset
• Organised, detail-oriented, proactive and exceptional at taking a project from conception to implementation
• Excellent in communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills (must have very strong written and verbal English)
• Ready to learn and be challenged
• Passionate about driving results

The role is full-time, 5 days working remotely, and following Sydney, Australia timezone/work hours. We are a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) company.
