CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

About the role

We’re looking for a CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join our Agency team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in customer nurture and upsell promotional campaigns, lifecycle marketing, retention, and reignition focused communications. You will be the engine room of our customer email and SMS sales channel strategies, moving beyond "batch and blast" to create meaningful, always on, engaging, opt-in and specific promotional data-driven activities that drive revenue for our clients.

What the role entails:

1. Lifecycle & CRM Marketing

  • Build strategies and prepare custom plans for lifecycle and CRM Marketing
  • Set up and support automated flows including welcome, abandoned cart, browse, win-back, and post-purchase campaigns
  • Build and generate promotional campaigns
  • Help drive retention, engagement, and repeat purchase outcomes

2. CRM Platforms, Segmentation & Data

  • Work with tools such as Klaviyo, Hubspot and Attentive
  • Build and manage audience segments and customer lists
  • Support data reporting and performance tracking
  • Develop personalised lifecycle experiences based on customer behaviour, purchase history, engagement, and lifecycle stage
  • Build dynamic content and segmentation strategies to improve relevance and performance
  • Identify high-value customer cohorts and opportunities to increase customer lifetime value (LTV)
  • Support loyalty, VIP, referral, and retention initiatives

3. Campaign Execution & Delivery

  • Create, Build, QA, schedule, and deploy EDM and SMS campaigns across lifecycle journeys
  • Manage end-to-end campaign setup and execution

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Work with strategy, creative, and client partnership teams to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Present and gain customer buy in to programs
  • Ensure alignment between messaging, audience, and campaign objectives
  • Present performance data, learnings and recommendations

5. Performance, Testing & Optimisation

  • Monitor campaign results across key metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion, revenue)
  • Assist with A/B testing and ongoing optimisation of campaigns and flows

6. Customer Journey & Conversion Optimisation

  • Map and optimise full customer journeys across acquisition, conversion, retention, and reactivation
  • Identify friction points and drop-off opportunities within customer journeys
  • Improve conversion rates across lifecycle touchpoints through messaging, timing, personalisation, and offer strategy
  • Partner with Paid Media and Ecommerce teams to improve lead-to-customer and customer-to-repeat-purchase performance

7. Revenue & Commercial Performance

  • Own or contribute to retention revenue targets and lifecycle channel performance
  • Monitor and improve key commercial metrics including repeat purchase rate, customer retention, AOV, LTV, unsubscribe rate, and revenue per recipient
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upsell, cross-sell, replenishment, and re-engagement campaigns
  • Forecast campaign impact and identify growth opportunities within existing customer databases

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the same role/field, preferably within an agency environment
  • Experience in Shopify, Klaviyo and/or Attentive and/or Hubspot
  • Creative EDM build skills
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, CRM, EDM, and SMS marketing best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage campaign execution
  • Analytical mindset with interest in performance and customer insights
  • Flexible approach to work, with an agile mindset
  • Ready to learn and be challenged

  • Organised, detail-oriented, intuitive and exceptional at taking a project from conception to implementation
  • Excellent in communication, interpersonal and relationship management

Digivizer follows a hybrid work arrangement. You will primarily work from home (typically 3-4 days per week), with at least 3 in-person days per month at our office in Sydney CBD.
