Drive Yello helps businesses efficiently manage last-mile delivery and connects them to gig economy drivers so they can meet the ever-increasing demand for convenience. We have ambitious growth plans and are looking for a passionate software engineer to help drive the scaling of our application architecture and product. We work with some of the largest retail clients here in Australia which include Woolworths, BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Coles, and Terry White Chemmart just to name a few.

Who are you?

You are an accomplished Platform Engineer with a strong proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, and Docker. Your passion lies in architecting and implementing efficient, scalable solutions that leverage cloud technologies.

Collaborating closely with the Head of Engineering, you'll help set the pace of innovation and work with a cross-functional leadership team to scale the Yello Technology Platform. We're on a mission to become a leader in our industry, and your mastery of cloud architectures will drive us forward! If you are passionate about building and delivering enterprise-class software and thrive in a start-up environment, this is the right place for you!

What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering and cloud experience within an Agile development environment
• Solid experience in AWS Cloud services, Kubernetes and Docker
• Proficiency in Node.js or PHP.
• Ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for technology and the start-up environment!
