How you'll contribute

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Windows environments, with additional experience in Linux environments being highly desirable. This role demands a strong balance of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and exceptional communication skills to effectively manage and enhance our IT systems

Here's what we need

Active Directory Expertise: Proficient in managing and maintaining both On-Premises Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and complex multi-domain environments.
Identity Management: Advanced experience with Azure Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and integration with various cloud and on-premises applications.
Hybrid Cloud Environment: Demonstrated experience in supporting and optimizing hybrid cloud environments, particularly those spanning multiple geographical locations.
Networking Proficiency: Strong knowledge of network technologies, including switching, routing, VLAN configuration, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance across diverse environments.
System Administration: Expertise in managing and maintaining Windows Workstation and Server Operating Systems. Experience with Linux-based systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with automation tools and scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
Office 365 Administration: Extensive experience in administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, with a focus on security and compliance.
Endpoint Security: Proficient in implementing and managing Microsoft Defender ATP / Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, ensuring robust endpoint protection across the organization.
Virtualization & Backup Solutions: In-depth experience with VMware virtualization technologies and enterprise backup solutions, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery preparedness.
Database Administration: Solid understanding of SQL database administration, including performance tuning, backup/restore, and security management.
Information Security: Strong grasp of information security principles, with experience in implementing and adhering to security frameworks such as ISO 27001. Knowledge of security and audit standards is a significant advantage.
Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, swiftly adapting to new technologies, and managing multiple tasks or roles as required.
Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for fostering teamwork and driving projects forward.
On-Call Rotation: Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide critical support outside regular business hours.

How you'll succeed

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: High-level analytical abilities, with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Time Management: Mastery in managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines, especially in remote or hybrid work settings.
Driver's License: A valid, unrestricted driver's license is required for this role.
Desirable Experience: Familiarity with Linux-based systems, as well as security and audit standards (ISO 27000/27001), and experience in large-scale, multi-site IT environments.
