Emesent is seeking a passionate Production Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing and engineering team. We are looking for a Production Engineer who is excited by Emesent technology and who can lead the development and improvement of new and existing product manufacturing processes, while employing their technical expertise in electronics and software to troubleshoot issues and support continuous quality improvement
Here's what we need
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes and operating procedures for new and existing products.
- Determine tooling, fixturing, and equipment specifications necessary for new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Establish and maintain detailed work instructions and tooling documentation.
- Facilitate operator training for new and existing processes.
- Assist quality assurance teams by performing root cause analysis on low level electronic and software issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on production and engineering metrics.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to prevent recurrences of non conformances.
- Work between manufacturing, sales, engineering, and quality assurance teams to support the launch of new products as well as communicate improvements and changes throughout the business

How you'll succeed
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record in supporting new product introductions and quality assurance.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, NPI methodologies, and engineering change management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse, and solve production-related problems quickly and effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and safety.
