Reality capture is changing fast. Surveyors, miners, contractors, and infrastructure operators are under pressure to capture better data, move faster, reduce rework, and streamline workflows, without compromising accuracy.
Emesent is helping lead that shift with mobile mapping, autonomous robotics, and spatial data technology used by some of the largest companies around the world.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help scale Emesent sales across APAC. This is a quota-carrying role for someone who can win direct opportunities while building partner-sourced pipeline through high-quality reseller, referral, and technology partners.

What You’ll Own
- Revenue growth across APAC.
- Direct sales cycles with technical clients and multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Partner-sourced and partner-assisted opportunities through high-quality channel partners.
- Territory planning, pipeline development, and forecasting, and discipline.
- Commercial ownership from qualification through proposal, validation, negotiation, and close.
You will report to the APAC Regional Sales Director and work closely with technical sales, marketing, product, and partner teams.
How You’ll Win
- Identify, qualify, and close opportunities across survey, AEC, government, and mining markets.
- Lead discovery, qualify technical fit, articulate value, and engage decision-makers with confidence.
- Identify and activate partners with strong access to survey, geospatial, mining, infrastructure, government, and complex industrial clients.
- Build partner-sourced pipeline through clear value propositions, target accounts, and disciplined follow-up.
- Coordinate demonstrations with Emesent’s technical experts while maintaining ownership of the commercial outcome.
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ quota-carrying sales, channel sales, or business development experience in a technical industry.
- Proven ability to create pipeline and close commercial opportunities
- Experience growing revenue through partners, distributors, or referral channels.
- Strong commercial judgement, pipeline discipline, and forecasting ability
- Confidence engaging technical users, commercial buyers, senior stakeholders, and partner sales teams.
Highly Regarded
- Experience selling laser scanning, GNSS, photogrammetry, mobile mapping, or spatial data solution
- Experience in surveying, geospatial, mining, AEC, robotics, or industrial technology.
- Ability to travel across APAC.
