The Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML and experience working within Content Management Systems (like ZenDesk and Salesforce Experience Cloud). This role will be responsible for editing, updating, and publishing articles and documents related to our products and services to provide our customers with accurate and up-to-date information.


  • The content editor’s primary responsibility will be to update and maintain employment hero’s website pages, help centres, and other content platforms our customers interact with when seeking information.
  • Edit and update existing knowledge base articles, documents, and web pages using WYSIWYG editor, HTML and CSS
  • Work with the content and support teams to identify and update content across our customer-facing digital channels. This can include:

- Following a style guide to format content (written by a team writer or AI tool
- Updating broken images and links
- Collaborating with the content team to ensure that all published content meets our style guide, accessibility and quality standards
- Monitor the performance of published content and make adjustments as necessary to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.


  • Proficiency in reading, understanding and updating English language content
  • Experience working remotely and across multiple time zones.
  • Experience with updating and editing content within content management systems/platforms using HTML or WYSIWYG editors
  • Experience with omnichannel support software, such as Zendesk, Salesforce Experience Cloud, Word Press or similar.
  • A working understanding of knowledge bases and customer support systems; as well as best practice content publishing tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience understanding feedback from content, support, product and performance data insights to drive content edits.
