Eucalyptus is looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse or Psychologist to join our Medical Support team at the forefront of clinical innovation in healthcare. We are a fast growing, rapidly evolving health technology startup with a requirement to be an industry leader in how mental health care is delivered, in Australia and globally. This role will own shaping how we support and respond to mental health concerns, proactively screen and assess patients psychological needs and develop new strategies for improving outcomes for all patients.
You’ll engage with patients and clinicians across all of our brands, delivering excellence in care in men’s health, women’s health, weight management, skincare and menopause.
This is an amazing opportunity to transition from face-to-face nursing to taking ownership of the principles and methods behind comprehensive mental health care on a digital platform. You'll be able to enhance patient-centred care and work in a highly collaborative team with registered nurses, pharmacists, and doctors.
- Improving our mental health processes to support patients being treated for chronic conditions, such as obesity
- Responding and managing mental health issues across all our brands via phone calls, emails, or text messages
- Working closely with doctors to support patients throughout their treatment journey
- Teaching and educating other clinicians
- Managing urgent mental health concerns promptly
- 3+ years experience in a mental health setting
- AHPRA registration
Preferred candidates would have:
- Experience in tele-health or telephone support
- Experience in weight loss management or disordered eating
