About The Role

We’re looking for a registered health coach / dietician that speaks fluent Japanese and English. The primary responsibility for the Health Coach will be managing the communications process and engagement for our patients, end to end, via community management, group and individual patient communications.

We are a young company with experimentation as part of our DNA. We frequently iterate to conviction with a strong hypotheses-led culture. The whole company sets quarterly OKRs and has the ability to rapidly shift gears in response to new insights, or changing market conditions in order to deliver on our company-wide objectives. It is critical for us that you share these philosophies, are adaptable to change and comfortable with solving for ambiguity.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

A Health Coach is a critical capability for Eucalyptus in supporting our patients towards their health-related goals and outcomes by creating long-term engagement and relationships with our patients. Responsibilities include:

• managing patient onboarding calls and responding to patient enquiries regarding diet, nutrition and fitness
• managing our patient facing communities and interactions via facebook and LINE
• being the primary interaction point with patients on our weight program
• providing general advice and coaching for engagement in group and individual communications in Japanese
• Triaging, responding and escalating communications from patients
• Reporting to our Operations Lead, Japan

About You (skills)

• A Nutritionist / Dietician who is eligible for, or holds an active registration in Japan as a Dietitian or Nutritionist (栄養士)
• Preferably with 2 or more years experience in health coaching
• Fluent or native in Japanese (spoken and written) and at a minimum, business level English language skills
• Naturally empathetic, reliable, caring, with strong creative problem-solving skills
• Confident using technology (i.e. Zendesk) and excited by fast-paced change
• Preferably with previous experience working in digital health
