🤓 Responsibilities

Joining Evergen means embracing a journey to shape the clean energy future. Our Product Managers play a pivotal part in this journey by uncovering opportunities, prioritising solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver valuable features to customers.

At Evergen, Product Managers work with internal and external customers to identify opportunities and learn about pain points.  They collaborate and coordinate across the company to identify the most important solutions to develop, then orchestrate our agile engineering practice to bring these solutions to life.  Finally, they lead go-to-market planning to launch new products and features for our customers.

As a Product Manager at Evergen, your responsibilities will include:

Serving as the domain expert for one of our product teams - understanding our customers, what they need, and how our product capabilities meet those needs

Defining product vision and strategy that delivers on Evergen's mission & goals

Actively participating in product discovery, working alongside designers and engineers to assess and identify valuable opportunities and solutions to complex problems

Partnering with product, technical and business stakeholders to prioritise and build what really matters

Representing our customers and keeping them front-of-mind in everything that we do

Setting the direction and goals for your product, tracking progress, and managing stakeholder expectations

Working closely with agile product development teams, ensuring that backlogs are ready for execution and that teams understand how customers will use product features

Acting as the bridge between different teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution of product initiatives

Using data, customer feedback, and market insights to recommend improvements and iterate on product strategy

🤹🏻 Skills

3+ years of Product Management experience in a software development environment

1+ years of energy industry experience

A strong focus on product discovery, strategy, and navigating uncertainty in a rapidly changing industry

Demonstrated success in developing clear and compelling product strategies that drive growth, customer satisfaction, and resilience to dynamic market conditions

Proficiency in creating and executing product roadmaps that deliver the product strategy

Outstanding communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration across different teams and stakeholders in a fast-changing environment

Experience with leading cross-functional development teams in Agile ways of working

Adept at managing conflicting priorities and communicating trade-offs to stakeholders

A track record of leveraging data and insights to inform decisions and pivots in product strategy

Experience using Jira or similar tools

🧰 Tools we use

Jira, Notion, and Asana are our go-to tools for managing work

G Suite is our tool of choice for video calls, emails, documents and document storage

Our engineers use loads of languages including Node, Typescript, GoLang, C#, and Python

Loom videos minimise meetings and share information between people and teams

Slack is used for internal messaging and we thoroughly dislike internal emailing

Our platform is built on cutting-edge cloud technology including AWS, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Kafka
