Senior Network Engineer - Deployments
Excelero Storage
For over 30 years, NVIDIA has transformed industries from gaming and computer graphics to AI, robotics, scientific computing, and autonomous systems. Our technology fuels AI models, GPU compute, simulation platforms, and massive-scale data centers used by the brightest minds in the world.
Behind every breakthrough is a network capable of powering it.
As we expand globally, we are building next-generation network infrastructure that delivers deterministic performance, automation-driven reliability, and seamless scale across data centers, labs, WAN backbones, cloud environments, and secure enterprise access fabric.
We’re looking for a hands-on deployment engineer who thrives in execution, precision, and technical challenge; someone who wants to help build the networks that make the future possible.
As a Senior Network Engineer for Deployments, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of global network deployments - from logical network build and design to automation-driven turn-up, validation, and operational transition. This role spans data center, WAN, campus, security edge, and private cloud interconnect environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deploy large-scale EVPN/VXLAN spine-leaf networks, GPU compute fabrics, and high-performance Ethernet/InfiniBand environments supporting AI workloads.
Execute logical rack prep & turn-up, LLDP discovery, structured cabling verification, and ZTP-based provisioning.
Deploy and integrate enterprise and cloud edge infrastructure, including firewalls, SD-WAN/SD-DC gateways, load balancers, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and remote access services.
Configure and enforce security controls including ZTNA architecture, IPsec/GRE tunnels, ACLs, segmentation, micro-segmentation, MACsec, identity-aware policy, and firewall rule automation.
Develop repeatable deployment automation using Python, Bash, Ansible, gNMI automation, Git workflows, and CI/CD-driven config pipelines.
Perform deep troubleshooting across routing, overlay control-plane, fabric convergence, performance bottlenecks, cabling, optics, and security policy enforcement.
Build and maintain validation playbooks including DC and WAN design, RoCEv2 validation, telemetry baselines, and post-deployment health gating.
Partner closely with architecture, automation, SRE, lab operations, and incident response teams during installation, cutover, and production readiness.
What We Need to See
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in network engineering, computer science or software engineering.
12+ years of work experience deploying enterprise and/or hyperscale network infrastructure across data center, WAN, and secure remote access environments.
Deep understanding of modern routing and data center fabrics including:
BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF/ISIS, VRF, VXLAN, EVPN, QoS, ECMP, DCI, LAG/MLAG, IPv6.Hands-on experience with multiple major platforms:
Arista EOS, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, NVIDIA Cumulus/Mellanox ONYX, Palo Alto.Proficiency deploying WAN and interconnect technologies including:
Segment routing & MPLS, SD-WAN, DVMRP, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute and global Internet peering.Practical experience implementing secure access and segmentation including:
ZTNA, firewall policies, IPsec/GRE tunnels, micro segmentation, identity-driven policy, MACsec, NAC.Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Ansible, Git, CI/CD, and templating frameworks.
Ability to work methodically in lab and field deployment conditions with strong debugging, documentation discipline, and cross-team collaboration.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd
Experience deploying networks for GPU clusters, AI factories, or RoCEv2/InfiniBand environments.
Prior experience building automated deployment frameworks (ZTP, configuration pipelines, telemetry onboarding, compliance enforcement).
Advanced certifications such as:
CCIE (DC/SP/Security), JNCIE, ACE-L3, CISSP, PCNSE.Experience with network telemetry, observability, and closed-loop validation (Prometheus, Grafana, NetQ, gNMI, NQE, flow analytics).
Track record leading execution in fast-paced deployment programs across multiple regions, vendors, and construction phases.
