Purpose of the Role
Farmbot is seeking a seeking a strategic and results-driven Paid Media Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will plan, execute, and optimise digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
This role will be responsible for driving qualified traffic, improving conversion rates, and increasing ROI through targeted paid media initiatives including search, display, social, and programmatic channels. We are seeking a team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and find solutions quickly.
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate outstanding results in paid media within B2B and customer-facing environments, exceptional negotiation skills, and a keen commercial awareness to identify and develop opportunities into successful collaborations. Experience in the agricultural industry will be highly regarded.
About you
You are a results-driven digital marketing professional with a passion for paid media strategy. With proven experience managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and programmatic networks, you bring a sharp analytical mindset and a creative edge to performance marketing.
Your understanding (or the willingness to develop an understanding) of rural and regional audiences gives you insight into how to communicate effectively with producers, farming communities, agribusiness stakeholders, and rural audiences.
You are comfortable working both strategically and tactically: from building a media plan that aligns with seasonal trends to optimising ad sets in real time for maximum ROI.
Key strengths include:
· 3+ years of experience in paid media planning, execution, and reporting
· Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other attribution tools
· A collaborative working style and the ability to engage with internal teams, creative partners, and clients
· A desire to support innovation and growth in the agricultural sector through digital means
· Proactive, commercially minded, and excited to apply media skills to drive measurable outcomes in a purpose-led, rural-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
· Develop, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
· Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and A/B testing to maximise campaign performance.
· Analyse campaign performance metrics and generate actionable insights and regular reporting.
· Collaborate with creative, content, and product development teams to align messaging and landing page experiences with paid strategies.
· Manage advertising budgets effectively to maximise ROI and meet performance goals.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in digital advertising, with a particular focus on the potential of AI.
· Recommend and implement new strategies for scaling performance and exploring emerging channels.
· Ensure campaigns comply with platform policies, brand guidelines, and privacy regulations.
· Support team and company management and pitch in with the wider marketing team where needed.
Desirable Experience and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar.
· Proven experience in paid media management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
· Experience in the agricultural industry or SaaS will be highly regarded.
· Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications.
· Experience with programmatic advertising platforms.
· Background in B2B/B2C marketing or eCommerce.
· Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
