There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.Design and analyse the fluid and mechanical aspects of Propulsion Ground Support Equipment (GSE) including launch fluid systems, propulsion test stands and supporting infrastructureDevelop CAD models and drawings of GSE. Lead and support commissioning of GSE.Develop written procedures and checklists for performing test & commissioning operations, and support test teams as required. How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.

  • Design and analyse the fluid and mechanical aspects of Propulsion Ground Support Equipment (GSE) including launch fluid systems, propulsion test stands and supporting infrastructure
  • Develop CAD models and drawings of GSE.
  • Lead and support commissioning of GSE.
  • Develop written procedures and checklists for performing test & commissioning operations, and support test teams as required.
  • Fault find and perform rectification of GSE
  • Guide the development of written procedures for manufacturing components
  • Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and integration of propulsion GSE
  • Support the design and testing of propulsion systems
  • Support launch preparations and launch operations, as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by Management
Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelors (BS) degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in propulsion or mechanical, fluid system design and analysis in a professional setting (excluding internships)
  • 3+ years’ experience with CAD designing parts and assemblies
    (NX/Teamcenter preferred, but other relevant experience is valuable), or
  • Experience with at least one commercial FEA or Multiphysics simulation package (ANSYS preferred or NASTRAN, ABAQUS, CFD codes, etc.)
