How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:
The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.
- Support product and mission design teams on the feasibility of manufacturing, integration, handling and testing
- Conduct technical analysis, design and sizing of satellite electrical ground-support equipment with the goal of optimizing verification of manufactured components
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues that arise during assembly, integration and testing phases
- Support planning and coordination of integration, test, launch campaign and related reviews of satellite missions
- Support internal and external clients in integration and test campaigns
- Support on orbit operations as necessary with knowledge gained from integration and test activities
- Any other duties as required
- 1+ years of demonstrated expertise with the design, analysis and development of electronic systems, with a strong emphasis on test and operation of electrical or avionics hardware
- Bachelors (BS) degree in an engineering discipline sufficient to satisfy the requirements for membership with Engineers Australia (MIEAust)
- NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
- Natural tendency towards process adherence and attention to detail
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment
- Experience in environmental testing (Vibe, thermal, EMC)
- Experience developing electrical hardware
- Experience using lab equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers etc.
- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to solve engineering problems as an individual or as a member of an integrated team
- Ability to work in a high-paced, challenging work environment
