How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:

  • Monitor, conduct and coordinate operational safety activities such as incident investigations, safety inductions, Safe Work Procedures and Verification of Competency training, monthly safety hazard inspections and system audits.
  • Continued risk assessment and monitoring of hazard reporting with the implementation of risk control measures as necessary.
  • Maintain and update health and safety documentation, including safety newsletters, safety alerts, environment and hazard risk registers.
  • Coordinate emergency response planning and drills to ensure all personnel are trained to respond effectively in critical situations.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and injuries; identifying and implementing corrective actions.
  • Guide and support the WHS&E Committee in addressing workplace safety issues, driving improvements and communicating consultatively with all personnel.
  • Advising on WHS&E risks during a test readiness review where requested.
  • Other duties as requested by Management
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Cert IV in WHS&E or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Current full driver’s license
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong problem solving and mechanical reasoning with a commitment to positively influencing a dynamic and fast paced work environment.

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Workers Compensation, injury management and rehabilitation coordination
  • ISO Certification in Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO45001:2018) and Environmental Management System (ISO14001:2015)
