Summary:

Title: Senior Processor, Digital Business Onboarding

Employment Type: Contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid (1 day per week in person)

About this Role:

The Senior Processor, Digital Business Onboarding is a key role in the onboarding of Business Banking Clients at CIBC. Accountable for upholding compliance to internal controls and Anti Money Laundering requirements.

Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:

  • Interpret, validate and execute client requests by establishing new customer’s signing authorities or amending existing customer’s signing authorities for basic corporate structures, conducting reviews of existing files, opening accounts and correcting documentation gaps relating to either signing authorities or AML discovered during the vetting process.
  • Verify documentation according to established signing authority procedures to confirm that documents received from customers are complete, and properly executed in compliance with requirements for specific fields.
  • Review basic legal agreements related to Cash Management products to allow implementation of new products and amendments to existing products.
  • Update the client files maintained online.
  • Ensure proper documentation is obtained and properly executed to change client files as a result of company amendments.
  • Address gaps in documentation, escalating unresolved items, applying policies or engaging the appropriate internal partners to facilitate a resolution.
  • Perform updates to existing customer’s profiles and accounts
  • Identify and recommend routine improvements to the job’s operating efficiency and advise management of opportunities to modify existing processes and/or procedures.
  • Regularly update knowledge of internal (i.e., new products, procedures and organizational changes) and external (i.e., technology, regulatory changes) developments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, such as projects relating to data integrity, testing required following technology enhancements, etc.

General Skills and Abilities - You are:

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal partners
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, , to successfully draft communications conveying concise explanations/information on policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize requests to ensure timely completion of assignments in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving techniques and the ability to generate solutions and decide quickly on courses of action when responding to service agreements and AML related questions or concerns.

Digital/Technical Skills & Tools - You are:

  • Basic skill level with the Microsoft Suite of applications

Education/Knowledge - You:

  • High School Diploma
  • Understanding and working knowledge of basic corporate entity structures that have registered as Corporation, Limited, or Incorporated.
  • Working knowledge of corporate structures, to accurately vet and review signing authority documentation ensuring proper execution.
