Who We Look For
As a developer in the Client Servicing team, you will be an integral part of the AMD Engineering Ecosystem, focusing on critical financial operations. You will design and implement complex, scalable systems for AMD back-office functions, with a particular emphasis on enhancing and optimizing our billing, payment processing, and revenue management platforms. You will also participate in various projects and initiatives within Revenue Operations technology, ensuring the scalability, integrity, and accuracy of our financial systems.
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related Engineering Field
- Min. 1 year (for Analyst) and 3 years (for Associate) experience with Java and/or other object-oriented programming languages
- Experience in building scalable and distributed platforms
- Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects
- Self-motivated with an analytical mindset and the ability to solve challenging technical problems
- Ability to multi-task and work well under time pressure and resource constraints
- Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualification
- A background in data intensive applications and Batch Process
- Experience in AWS Cloud technologies will be a plus
- Comfortable working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment (Agile development experience)
- Working knowledge/experience in the financial or banking industry, with an understanding of billing regulations, accounting principles, or general ledger systems
- Experience with Web/RESTful service development: HTML 5, JavaScript/ReactJS, JSON, Kubernetes, SQL, testing and build tools, etc.
