About the role
Halter is looking for Customer Support Specialists to join our newly created Farmer Support team to help our farmers stay connected to their animals using Halter’s revolutionary technology. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will work closely with our farmers to unlock all the potential of the system and assist them when they are having issues. We’re looking for someone who thrives on delivering the best customer experience possible whilst aiming to resolve our farmer’s queries & questions. Take this opportunity to join a team that is starting from scratch, working closely with our Customer Support Lead to set the precedence of a world-class support team.

What your day could look like

  • Responding to customer support queries received from all contact points (including phones, emails, and messenger services - we use intercom)
  • Being the experts of our Halter App so you can provide guidance and support for customers in using our state-of-the-art product
  • Building the bridge between our Farmers and our internal teams such as software, guidance, or behavior
  • Identify areas where better service can be provided to customers and assist in the continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Keep all required report logs updated with relevant information
  • Delivering world-class customer support to our rapidly expanding network of frothing farmers

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in a similar role would come in handy - You should know when to spend more time on an issue or escalate, with the relevant information, to our product & engineering teams
  • Dairy farming knowledge and/or experience is preferred.
  • A top-notch communicator - you will be versed in dealing with customers from all walks of life and making their lives a little better after having spoken to them
  • An ambitious go-getter - Yep sounds cliche but here at Halter we all approach our day with an entrepreneurial mindset, you will be confident in making improvements to how we do things if it means working smarter and doing better by our Farmers
  • An avid learner with a keen interest in technology and a drive to exceed their standards every day

We do have flexible working hours and you can work from home when you need to but we encourage our team to be in the office as much as you can.
