More About The Social Media Manager Role At CHARETTE
The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to lead content development, scheduling, and performance across our clients’ and internal platforms. You’ll work closely with our founder and account leads to shape engaging narratives across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and beyond. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the design world, knows how to build an audience, and understands the nuances of different content formats.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies for clients and Charette’s own channels
Plan, create, and schedule content across Instagram (including Reels), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Write on-brand captions and manage content calendars in Notion or Airtable
Analyse performance metrics and provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations
Stay on top of trends in design, social media, and content formats — and propose fresh ideas accordingly
Brief and manage freelance creatives (video editors, designers, photographers) as needed
Contribute to brainstorms and campaign planning across PR, content, and partnerships
Assist with community management and influencer/partner outreach when relevant
What We’re Looking For
3+ years experience in social media management, ideally in a design, luxury, or creative industry
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content formats
Excellent writing skills with a strong sense of tone and storytelling
Strong visual eye and interest in design, architecture, and interiors
Comfortable briefing and collaborating with editors, photographers, and other creatives
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple accounts
Bonus: experience with Adobe Suite, CapCut, or video editing tools
