As an Account Manager and under the wing of an experienced Sales Leader, you'll have full ownership of a Brisbane-based portfolio of Property Developer clients and a handful of smaller growing accounts – where driving revenue growth through media sales, new product adoption and brand loyalty will be key to cementing Domain as an embedded solution and valuable business partner to the industry’s top tier.

Sitting within a high-performing and supportive team, this is a unique opportunity for a passionate salesperson to build long-term, meaningful relationships with the industry’s best – enjoying a great deal of independence in running a territory as your own business, bringing your own stamp with new ideas and best practices, and working towards long term career development.

In a Typical Day You Can Expect To

Get to know our key clients’ businesses intimately through close collaboration and strong partnerships.

Improve outcomes for clients by selling media and advertising solutions across Domain’s portfolio of products and putting together campaigns.

Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle in both face-to-face and phone sales – from first meetings and demonstrations, building business cases and contract execution, through to reporting on account performance.

Present Domain insights to key stakeholders and attend customer events / sales meetings.

Strategise and implement growth initiatives.

Liaise with internal key stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to Key Accounts.

Small amount of new business development as a sub-focus.

Proactively maintain relationships, introducing new and featured products that can solve problems and give clients the tools to achieve their goals.

Provide world class customer service by efficiently resolving client queries and operational/account issues.

Continually provide feedback on market conditions e.g. competitive activities (sales tactics and marketing initiatives), as well as potential barriers and opportunities.

Expand your knowledge to become an industry expert within the Real Estate / Developer space.

Essential

Our Ideal Person:

Digital Media Experience Essential.

Experience in face-to-face sales / account management and business development.

Comfortable with longer sales cycles and relationships that develop slowly. (Not focused on quick wins).

Ability to drive and meet clients across the Greater Brisbane region (occasional travel to Sunshine Coast).

A sense of ambition and motivation towards sales targets

Confidence in presenting to large groups

Valid Australian drivers license and reliable vehicle

Bonus Points

Experience in selling using insights

Understanding of commercial real estate / developers

Strong analytical and reporting capability

The Commercial business unit is focused on driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships, offering an integrated marketplace. They establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate agents, property developers, and businesses in related industries both face-to-face via our field sales teams and virtually with our 100% remote sales teams. They are focused on accelerating Domain’s marketplace strategy across the different teams who are united on driving Domain’s purpose of inspiring confidence in life’s property decisions by focusing on our customers and putting them at the forefront. The Commercial team works collaboratively with other teams across the business and offers property search and listing, data, agent and consumer solutions for a diverse group of customers.

Project Insights: Affordable Housing Solutions: Domain Group is working on projects aimed at addressing the issue of affordable housing. We collaborate with government bodies, nonprofits, or developers to create innovative housing models, explore financing options, or support initiatives that increase access to affordable housing for individuals and families.
