About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Category Manager for a fixed term 12 Month contract.

As a Product Category Manager, you'll drive exciting consumer-focused growth for our categories and brands! You’ll create annual plans, set bold objectives, and lead product launches. By leveraging your deep consumer insights, you'll shape marketing strategies that boost revenue and profit. Plus, you’ll develop and execute integrated 360° campaigns that align with ghd ANZ’s goals, making a real impact on the business

What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee the entire performance and strategy of a product category (e.g., Straighteners, Hairdryers, Wet to Dry) in line with the broader business and marketing strategy

Analyze sales data, consumer insights, and market trends to optimise product mix and pricing.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to secure 360 support across channels to drive category performance inline with the category A+CP budget goals.

Plan, manage, activate and monitor marketing promotional campaigns and product launches in line with global and local requirements and marketing activity calendar to deliver on time and within budget

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product/brand or category manager role or similar role within the retail, beauty or consumer goods industry.

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to drive category performance.

Expertise in brand, product and/or category management, pricing strategies, and retail optimisation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams.

Proven track record of driving successful commercial outcomes on brands or product launches to deliver business KPIs.
