Position Overview

We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Associate to drive growth initiatives and forge strategic partnerships that will accelerate Cobalt's market expansion. This role offers the opportunity to shape our business development strategy while working directly with industry leaders in the rapidly evolving digital assets ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development

Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnerships with financial institutions, crypto exchanges, blockchain companies, and fintech startups

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the digital assets industry

Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborate on integration strategies

Market Expansion

Research and analyze market opportunities for new customer segments and geographic expansion

Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and services

Support sales efforts by qualifying leads and managing the sales pipeline

Strategic Initiatives

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align business development efforts with product roadmap

Analyze competitor landscape and market trends to identify opportunities and threats

Prepare business cases and presentations for potential partners and internal stakeholders

Relationship Management

Maintain and nurture relationships with existing partners and key accounts

Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to represent Cobalt

Work closely with marketing team to develop partner-focused content and campaigns

Required Qualifications

1-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or financial services

Strong understanding of digital assets, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology

Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage C-level executives

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs

Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools

Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
