Finance Manager

What started with a single matcha product in 2021 has grown into one of Australasia’s fastest-scaling coffee-alternative brands. We’re now in over 10,000 stores globally (and counting), and they're not slowing down anytime soon.
Now they are on hunt and are looking for a Finance Manager to help power the next phase of that growth—someone who can own our day-to-day finance engine while helping us scale globally with speed, clarity, and control.
The Role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role based out of our Surry Hills HQ. You'll work closely with our founder and ops team to lead the AP/AR function across Australia, New Zealand, and the US . Your work will help shape how we scale operations, manage cash flow, and keep the business sharp as we grow.
You’ll need to be detail-obsessed, commercially wired, and ready to build processes that actually make sense for a business moving at startup speed.
What You'll Be Doing
Accounts Payable
Own the supplier relationship from invoice to payment
Manage reconciliations, disbursements, and schedules
Keep vendor data clean and up to date
Work with ops to make sure payment timing aligns with cash flow
Accounts Receivable
Handle invoicing across DTC, wholesale, and distributors
Track payments, chase down anything overdue
Manage credits, refunds, and payment discrepancies
Collaborate with sales/ops to ensure accuracy and flow
Build and monitor AR aging reports
Finance Ops Across AU, NZ, and the US
Run AP/AR across all three markets
Handle multi-currency reconciliations and intercompany transactions
Support tax compliance across regions
Assist with month-end close and reporting
Liaise with accountants, external partners, and internal teams
What We're Looking For
2–4 years of hands-on finance experience (AP/AR/general accounting)
Strong with Xero and spreadsheets (you build what you need, fast)
Attention to detail with a commercial edge
Solid communicator who can translate numbers into actions
Comfortable working across time zones and global markets
Sydney-based and available to work in-office, Mon–Fri
Bonus If You Bring...
FMCG, eCommerce, or startup experience
Knowledge of GST, sales tax, and cross-border compliance
Background in inventory-heavy businesses
