Your Core Responsibilities
You’ll have hands-on experience across modern data architectures, and bring expertise in building robust data pipelines, developing scalable data models, and managing data workflows end-to-end. You’ll have 2-3 years in data engineering or full-stack data roles, with a tertiary qualification in Economics, Data Engineering or a related technical field, and a demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and work independently in a dynamic environment.

We're seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer with 2-3 years experience to join us as we grow. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the development of our data models and pipelines, helping us to build a world-class data platform that serves our customers and our business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about problem solving and taking on the challenge of ingesting, transforming and integrating complex data sets from multiple sources, to drive real outcomes.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Identifying relevant data sources, and designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines to support our platforms
- Owning data ingestion processes from multiple sources, including listings, market and economic data, ensuring quality, integrity and reliability across systems
- Generating insights from data sets, identifying trends and opportunities across the business
- Collaborating with our Eng and Data Science teams to build and optimise LLM and machine learning models
- Creating BI dashboards, data visualisations and automated reporting for internal stakeholders and investors
- Forming a deep understanding of our data processes and helping to improve it by implementing new learning
- Staying on top of any failures and issues in our data systems, troubleshooting, proposing improvements and implementing fixes
- Owning and evolving our data stack to support future product development
- Operate as second-in-command (2IC) to the Head of Engineering, assisting in the day-to-day management of our platforms, and providing Service team support.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Solid SQL skills (advanced querying, DDL, DML)
- MongoDB database querying and scripting
- Good understanding of data modelling (relational and NoSQL)
- Python/Javascript programming
- Data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, schemas)
- Data pipeline development and orchestration
- Version control system (git)
- Experienced with n8n platform
- Web crawling with Python or Javascript
- Agile methodology
- Have experience in, or strong interest in, the Proptech or Fintech domain, and collaborating with offshore teams
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Provide proactive solutions to problems and constantly challenge the status quo
- Bring strong analytical skills, communication, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning
