This is a Business Development Manager role with PainChek based on the east coast of Australia.

Business Development Manager Australia

Role Overview:

PainChek is looking for a driven Business Development Manager with 4+ years of B2B sales, with experience in either healthcare industry or SaaS technology to join our team. In this role, you will need a strong network and solid understanding of the healthcare sector, ideally residential aged care and home care, plus a proven track record of hitting revenue targets.

Your day-to-day will involve outbound prospecting and converting inbound leads, always with the goal of managing new business opportunities to deal closure. Combined with your communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, in addition to your knowledge of the healthcare industry, will help you build lasting client relationships and drive business value and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying new sales/business prospects/opportunities and to increase your customer base.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on small to medium care providers across residential aged care and home care
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, developing strategic partnerships for long-term growth
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
  • Lead client engagement from demonstration, proposal, contracting and deal closure
  • Consistently meet and exceed KPIs related to individual and company targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings when opportunities arise to expand brand awareness, network with potential customers and generate leads.
  • Collaborating with other departments regarding sales and meeting customer needs, such as our Customer Success, Clinical and Operations.
  • Keep CRM (Hubspot) records current and provide regular pipeline reports and market insights to the leadership team
  • Identifying evolving customer needs and being aware of new, emerging products and competition in our industry.
  • Developing growth strategies and working in conjunction with Senior Commercial Manager

Required Capabilities:

  • Proven track record of closing new business development and sales opportunities
  • Proven sales experience across the healthcare industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customer base and market.
  • Detailed knowledge of the residential aged care and home care industry and ability to navigate complex sales scenarios.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to influence internal staff to achieve business goal’s cross function (marketing, technical and scientific teams).
  • Strong technology skills and ability to work with a new technology base (AI).
  • Experience with CRM, ideally Hubspot, to manage sales and track leads

Preferably East Coast Australia, but open to applications from other States for the right applicant.
