More about the Events & Operations Manager, APAC Marketing role at Uber

Uber’s regional marketing teams play a critical role in establishing deep, trusted relationships with the businesses and communities we serve across APAC. As the frontline of our B2B marketing efforts, regional marketers work closely with cross-functional partners (Brand, Content, PMM, Sales, Comms, Policy, and Ops) to bring Uber’s B2B value proposition to life in-market.

As Marketing Manager, Events & Operations (APAC), you will sit within Uber’s B2B International Marketing team and be responsible for end-to-end event delivery that enables scalable, high-quality execution across the region. This role sits within an APAC Marketing team that covers Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong.

You’ll be responsible for campaign strategy and end-to-end management of campaigns, partnering with local agencies and internal creative & deployment teams to ensure high standards of campaign execution. You are eager to dive in and learn more about demand generation platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, Demandbase and CRM tools such as Salesforce and Marketo. You are willing to get in the weeds to ensure high quality MQLs are routed to Sales teams appropriately, and are open to providing process recommendations to Marketing Ops & Sales Ops teams to ensure APAC foundations are solid.

Reporting to the Marketing Lead for APAC, you’ll join a highly motivated team. We’re looking for someone to join us in our growth journey in some of our fastest growing markets. The right candidate is a results-driven B2B marketer and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead project management for events, including timelines, workflows, budgets, staffing, logistics, and risk management.
  • Own event calendars, campaign timelines, and operational documentation to ensure alignment across teams and markets.

Execution & Stakeholder Management

  • Own vendor and agency management, including sourcing, contracting, briefing, and performance management, ensuring quality delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure events consistently reflect Uber’s global brand standards and B2B narrative, while allowing for local market nuance.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop pre-, during-, and post-event go-to-market plans, including lead capture, follow-up, and nurture.
  • Support the regional team with marketing operations including campaign deployment, audience targeting, and program setup across channels.

Operations & Optimization

  • Partner with Marketing Ops, CRM, and Performance teams to ensure accurate campaign execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Maintain and optimise event and campaign workflows, templates, and playbooks to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a problem-solver for operational challenges, proactively identifying gaps and proposing process improvements.

Measurement & Insights

  • Help define and track metrics and dashboards that connect events and campaigns to pipeline, revenue, and business impact.
  • Measure and report on event performance and ROI, clearly communicating outcomes, learnings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related business discipline.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in marketing operations, or integrated marketing roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-market programs with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Experience managing vendors, agencies, budgets, and contracts.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing systems including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Hubspot or other CMS, basic HTML skills
  • Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data and metrics to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
