Your team

You'll work closely with our BDR Manager, who will be your direct coach and mentor. The broader sales team includes collaborating daily with our other BDRs, Account Executives and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and high conversion rates.

What you'll be doing Research and outreach.

You'll be building and refining target lists using Clay for data enrichment and Apollo for sequencing. You'll take a consultative approach, reaching out by call and email to smaller and mid-sized companies where you need to understand their pain before pitching solutions.

Talk to the right people.

You'll often start conversations with AR coordinators or finance managers to understand day-to-day pain points - how much time they spend chasing payments, reconciling spreadsheets, or manually sending reminders. Then you use those insights to build a compelling case when speaking with the CFO or Financial Controller.

Qualify with MEDDIC and focus on metrics.

If a prospect is spending 4-5 hours chasing invoices and reconciling payments, that's where ezyCollect by SIdetrade shines. You'll help prospects quantify the benefits of an automated solution: faster cash in the bank, less manual work, improved customer experience.

Understand the product value.

The value proposition is clear: customers can pay 24/7, finance teams get time back, and cash flow improves.

Book quality meetings.

Your goal is to pass qualified opportunities to Account Executives - meetings that convert into real pipeline and revenue. You'll use HubSpot to create and track deals, ensuring clean handoffs and maintaining accountability for conversion rates.

Handle inbound as you ramp.

Once you've proven yourself on outbound and developed a strong understanding of our ICP, you'll start taking on a higher mix of inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website enquiries, and partner referrals.

What you'll bring

You have at least 1 year of experience in B2B sales or a customer-facing role, ideally in SaaS. Experience with accounting systems (Xero, NetSuite, MYOB), payments/fintech, or SaaS companies is a strong advantage.

You've spoken to C-suite executives before and can hold your own in conversations with CFOs, Financial Controllers, and business owners.

You prioritise quality over quantity - you'd rather spend 10 minutes researching a prospect and having a great call than blasting through 50 low-quality dials. You're organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a high-volume workload without losing focus.

You're curious and coachable. You ask good questions, take feedback on board, and want to get better every week. Learning finance terminology and Accounts Receivable workflows will be part of the journey - the more conversations you have, the sharper you'll get.

Bonus points for familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) or prospecting platforms (Apollo, Clay), but we'll teach you what you need to know.
